Focusbound Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026.

Focusbound works without an account, advertising, analytics, or a developer-operated backend. The first release stores your journey on your device and does not send it to Pad19 Labs, LLC.

What Focusbound stores

Focusbound stores what it needs to run your journey, in the app's local preferences on your device:

  • Your chosen starting airport
  • Your completed and ended-early flight history
  • Your current active flight, if one is in progress
  • Your snack-reminder preference and reminder interval

Pad19 Labs, LLC does not receive or host any of it.

What Focusbound does not collect

Focusbound does not collect accounts, names, email addresses, contact lists, location, analytics, advertising identifiers, or payment information. It does not use cookies or cross-app tracking.

Airport and map data

Airport search data is bundled with the app. Focusbound uses Apple MapKit to display route maps, and Apple may receive the technical information necessary to provide map content under Apple's own privacy terms. Focusbound does not request your device location.

Notifications

If you enable snack reminders, Focusbound asks for notification permission and schedules reminders locally on your device. The app does not use remote push notifications, and notification responses are not sent to Pad19 Labs, LLC.

Sync and network services

The first release does not use CloudKit or another service to sync journey data between devices. If cross-device sync or any other data-collecting feature is added later, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.

Data retention and deletion

Your journey stays in the app's local storage until you remove that application data. Uninstalling Focusbound removes its local data on iPhone and iPad. On macOS, you may also need to remove the app's saved preferences to erase them completely.

Children's privacy

Focusbound does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as Focusbound evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
