Remain in Prayer Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
App Name: Remain in Prayer
iOS Display Name: Remain
Developer: Pad19 Labs, LLC
Overview
Remain in Prayer helps you organize and engage with your personal prayers. The current version is designed to keep your prayer information on your device.
Pad19 Labs does not operate an account system or server backend for the app and does not receive your prayer content through the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
Remain in Prayer stores the following information locally on your device:
- Prayer titles and descriptions
- Prayer updates, tags, and statuses
- Prayer dates and history
- Reminder and audio preferences
- Shuffle, playback, and App Lock settings
This information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
On-Device Audio
Remain in Prayer can read your prayers aloud using Apple's built-in iOS text-to-speech technology.
The prayer title and description are processed locally by iOS. Prayer content is not sent to Pad19 Labs, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or another third-party artificial-intelligence service.
Reminders and Notifications
If you enable prayer reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated by the app and do not require a Pad19 Labs notification server.
Notifications use a generic message by default. If you enable the option to show prayer titles, a prayer title may appear in notifications or on your Lock Screen. Whether notification content is visible also depends on your iOS notification-preview settings.
You can disable reminders or prayer-title previews within the app and manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Audio and System Displays
While a prayer is being read aloud, its title may appear in Apple's Now Playing interface and on compatible system displays, including the Lock Screen, CarPlay, or connected media controls.
Siri and Shortcuts
Remain in Prayer may provide optional Siri and Shortcuts actions for opening the app or beginning a prayer session. Prayer content is selected from the app's local data.
The app does not send prayer content to Pad19 Labs or a third-party AI service through these actions. Apple's handling of Siri and other system services is governed by Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.
App Lock
If you enable App Lock, authentication is handled by iOS using the authentication methods available on your device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Remain in Prayer stores only whether App Lock is enabled. Pad19 Labs does not receive or store your biometric information.
Backups
Remain in Prayer allows you to export a backup file to a location you choose. A backup may include:
- Prayer titles and descriptions
- Prayer updates
- Tags and statuses
- Prayer dates and history
The app does not automatically upload exported backups to Pad19 Labs.
After a backup is exported, its privacy and security depend on the location or storage provider you selected. Exported backups must be deleted separately from that location if you no longer want to retain them.
Information We Do Not Collect Through the App
Pad19 Labs does not collect through Remain in Prayer:
- Your prayer content
- Account or registration information
- Location information
- Contacts, photos, or microphone recordings
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or tracking information
The app does not contain advertising or third-party tracking SDKs. Pad19 Labs does not sell your personal information.
Support Communications
If you email Pad19 Labs for support, we receive your email address and whatever you write. It is used to answer you and nothing else, and you can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.
Please don't paste prayer content into a support message unless it's necessary to solve the problem.
Diagnostics Provided by Apple
Apple may make diagnostic or crash information available to developers when users have chosen to share that information with Apple.
Remain in Prayer does not include an independent analytics or crash-reporting service. Apple's collection and handling of diagnostic information is governed by Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.
Retention and Deletion
Prayer data is retained locally until you delete the prayer or remove the app.
You may:
- Delete individual prayers from within the app
- Remove the app to remove its locally stored data from your device
- Delete exported backup files from the location where you saved them
Copies of app data may remain in device backups managed by Apple, depending on your iOS backup settings. Remain in Prayer does not provide iCloud or CloudKit synchronization in the current version.
Because your prayers never reach us, there is nothing on our end for us to delete.
Children's Privacy
Remain in Prayer is not directed specifically to children under 13, and Pad19 Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features or data practices change. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above.
